This 7 piece series is an abstract translation of my feelings and moments of self reflection over the past few months. In the beginning of 2020 I believed I was growing and finding some illusion of balance in my life. But as the pandemic progressed, a divided country, and the ongoing senseless killing of innocent Black people, like many, I felt my foundation shake.  A veil was lifted and I no longer could ignore the growth I still needed to do. I was striving to re-center myself, rebuild from scratch but better.  

The work is centered around human reflection and embracing all the parts looking back. True growth can only be accomplished if you embrace it all, including the ugly.  Stripped of worldly things, are you proud of what you've become? Have you taken this moment in our history to reevaluate your intentions in this world?
