I use my work to examine and re-frame my anxieties and introspection. I extract and reconstruct fragments of this world to compose new scenarios. Each piece is neo-surreal, with moments of figurative components. My subject matter is distorted and isolated from its context to re-illustrate stories regarding femininity and representations of human nature. I enjoy playing with perspective and utilizing complementary colors and tones. Through painting or collage, my art further explores my thoughts around mental health and sheds light on disordered thinking we’ve all fallen victim to in some way or another.
