Statement
My art gives me a sense of control over my environment. It is a ritual of extracting fragments of the world and assembling them to form something new. Through varying subject matter, I can reimagine my introspection, mental health, and humanness. It helps me visualize and further navigate my anxieties. Each painting is a means to manipulate the chaos and convey a story. The result is a blend of distorted figures, muted primary colors, playful shapes, and dreamy tones. Through my work, I get to view the human experience through a new and unique lens.
